The specialists of tomorrow: HABAU GROUP builds on up-and-coming talents

The HABAU GROUP is currently training 250 young people in 26 different apprenticeships in Austria and Germany. In the 2024 apprenticeship year, around 80 new construction talents joined the team.

Fit for the future: new opening of HABAU GROUP headquarters HAB1 in Perg

After two years of construction, the HABAU GROUP is opening the doors to its new Group headquarters HAB1 in Perg. With this update, it has created a future-oriented working environment for around 220 Habau employees.

Topping-out ceremony for the Central Hub at TwentyOne

On 23 May 2024, HABAU GROUP and Bondi Consult hosted the topping-out ceremony for the Central Hub at TwentyOne in Vienna Floridsdorf.

HABAU GROUP, Apleona Austria & RBI Leasing: groundbreaking for BAfEP Floridsdorf

The consortium consisting of Apleona Austria GmbH, RBI Leasing GmbH and HABAU Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft m.b.H. is to carry out the new construction of the Training Institute for Early Childhood Education in Vienna’s 21st district on behalf of the City of Vienna. Yesterday, at Schloßhofer Straße / Freytaggasse, the groundbreaking ceremony for the “bafep21” project took place together with Vice Mayor and City Councillor for Education Christoph Wiederkehr, Floridsdorf district leader Georg Papai, head of the City of Vienna kindergartens Karin Broukal, Hubert Wetschnig, CEO of the HABAU GROUP, Thomas Winter, CEO of Apleona Austria and Harald Kröger, head of the area “Group Structured Finance & Investment Banking” at Raiffeisen Bank International. The project is being carried out within the framework of a PPP model (public-private partnership). The opening of the new building is planned for September 2026, and overall completion for summer 2027.

Girls in technology: the HABAU GROUP hosted the Vienna Daughters’ Day and Girls Day in Perg

Throughout Austria, 25 April 2024 was all about girls in technical professions. Around 20 young women took up the invitation from the HABAU GROUP and visited the HABAU Group company in Vienna and Perg.

The bidding consortium consisting of Apleona Austria GmbH, RBI Leasing GmbH and HABAU Hoch- und Tiefbaugesellschaft m.b.H. was commissioned by the City of Vienna with the new construction of the Training Institute for Early Childhood Education at Schloßhofer Straße / Freytaggasse in Vienna’s 21st district.

Gold for up-and-coming HABAU talents at the AustrianSkills 2023

Lukas Miedler and Lukas Ritzberger impressed the jury at this year’s AustrianSkills 2023, taking first place in the category of “concrete construction”.
